Hello, My name is John, the name Heyoka was the name I originally chose when I came here to try this a few years ago. I did not at the time think it mattered what name a person chose to be known as, but since then I have found that some native Americans see this as a theft of their cultural icons, because to one who believes in the Good Red Road, the Heyoka has more meanings then any single other avatar in the whole of its lexicon. Too those who see this as theft, I can assure you I earned this name because I was smart ass to my teachers all of my life. Now that I am the teacher, here at least, it is a constant reminder to me that Karma has a long memory and an even longer reach. It is a source of humility now, reminding me that the true Heyoka, was never to be harmed, no matter what he or she said in counsel. Sometimes this sacred clown, or wise fool, used a flurry of opposites to demonstrate the agility of his mind and also to confuse his enemies. These were members of a lineage called the Twisted Hair counsel, I have sat at the feet of twisted hair teachers for many thousands of hours and still do on occasion, when the opportunity arises to learn from those that have been given the right to teach these sacred truths. I have studied under more teachers than I can list here, I have always sought out those who seem to wish to find the margins and sail past them. Because of this I have engaged in many forms of therapy training that would make most people wonder if I had lost my mind in my exploration of truth and freedom. I don't profess to understand why God does the things he does, nor do I profess to find ways of subverting the Creators role as the governing agent of this dimensional reality. My role here in this domain called Oranum is to listen carefully, and try to help people through difficult life transitions, what is called a "stands behind" someone who holds the space without judgement, while that person takes on something larger then themselves. The skill set I use no longer requires cards or tools, nor any form of ritual or witchcraft. I neither endorse nor oppose those who chose to embrace these formats, as they are time tested and can create profound changes quickly. I have however made it my business if these are used against someones knowledge and or permission, this, if I am asked to intercede, is something I do without any holds barred. If your seeking support and the information to make a good decision, that is what I see my role as. The main tool I use is unseen, I have within my mind a second voice or guide, that indicates everything that needs to be known, it does however not reveal things to me that are too personal, and or unneeded for the session. This inner guide has no name, nor does it indicate from where it originates, it is incumbent upon both myself and the client to think carefully before acting upon any advice offered, because it may not be something that is needed or required until something else has come to pass, if then. Somethings need to be held in place, waiting for the moment when it is needed or obvious that the right moment has arrived.
